IN 2004 we bicycled 5 days in Slovakia.

On the 2nd day we climbed Králova Hola (1946 m) from Sumiac.
It's 1200m heightdiff with ca. 8-9% average steepness.
Interesting that the lower part is gravel, the last ca. 4-5 kms are paved.

The nature, the top the view is just like from Mont Ventoux. Both has TV tower on the top.
As there are gravel BIGs in Europe too (not too high ones too), as it is the highest in Slovakia, in the future maybe it would be better to be between the BIGs of Slovakia.

Look the video: after ca. 2 minutes starts Králova Hola!
