Lac Allos by bicycle

Hello !

I'm interested in collecting more and more paved roads going above 2000m by my bicycle.
I tried to find enough informations, but I'm not sure about that:

a road goes towards Lac Allos.
- Does that road reach the Lac or does it end 1-2kms before it (parking place) ? If this is true, at ca. how high does that road end ?
- Is that road paved or gravel ?
