Gabriele, could you tell us if last kilometer is "privat weg" or not ?

I went at Allgauer Berghof the day of the meeting but not with the group.

The place is not well indicated and there is no sign at the top.
I reached first an hotel which is nearly at the top. Then I reach a place (frankly quite anonymous) where I found Daniel and some others. The rest of the group went up to the very top with pieces of about 25%. Mauro Repetti was happy about this final stretch. He likes the extreme steep tracks.

I did not go up as I understood that this was the top and I was not keen to make extreme effort as in the afternoon I had planned Neberhorn.

I actually do not know where is exactly Allgauer Berghof - Is the top of the mountain (the BIG should include the last km) or a definite place (hotel, hut etc) or indicate an area? I did not have the impression that the road was private - it was a small truck for pedestrians and MTB not a road inviting a cyclists on a racer to continue up (except BIG cyclists)
