Ability to Add climbs

I think this site is fantastic and a great resource to find climbs.

But personally I think it needs the ability to add new climbs to the database. there are just too many huge climbs missing - at least in the French Alps and Juras.

Val Thorens, Courchevel, Les Arcs for example are all over 2000 metres with Tour de France history.


For me otherwise it is just a resource to find climbs when travelling but the tracking is not useful

Our challenge moved from 1985 to 2000, from a list of 100 climbs in Europe, to a list of 1.000 climbs in Europe (included 50 out of Europe).



We decided at this moment, in the goal to give the ability to reach the « Graal » during a whole life, to stop at the number of 1.000 in the increasing amount.



We can only, based on a deep analysis and a full file of description, change one existing B.I.G in our list into another new one that would be obviously better. But better doesn’t mean harder or steeper, necessarily. We chose to fetch a good balance between three criteria : difficulty (gradients and lengths), media (international views on TV, pro-tour for professional racers) and turism (like Meteora in Greece or North Cape,…).



This list is not a list in which we added one by one a new climb. It’s a list of 1.000 climbs worth of pain, selected through votes emerging from an international committee having worked during more than 10 years on it) and giving all together a good idea of what is cycloclimbing in Europe (and a little in the world with the zoen 12).
