Alps + La Marmotte (end of June - start July 2009)

Hello !
one fix point in my plan is: participating on La Marmotte (4th July).

- that means I will arrive at the BIG meeting only at the afternoon / evening 6th July.
Before La Marmotte I will cycle a little bit in NW Italy, then in Valais in south Switzerland, then in the french Alps: Joux Plane, Courchevel, Col d'Iseran, Galibier, ....

If someone is interested, it would be a good idea to meet for hours or a tour, etc....
On the whole tour usually I will cycle with 24 kg pannaiers, but there will be light days with minimum pack.

I will start from Milano ca. 22th - 24th June.

At the end of the 2,5 weeks I would like to cycle the whole course of Ötztaler radmarathon (238 km + 5500m heightdiff. ) as a trial.
(I know that the exact day for Ötztaler radmarathon is at the end of Aug 2009)

PS: For a few weeks I feel (I have felt) more motivation cycling La Marmotte. Because I will cycle there it seemed to unambiguous to participate.

- after 2 days (21-22 JUne) I will spend 4-5 days in Wallis : South Switzerland.
after it through Pas Morgins, Morzine, Col de la Colombiere to Moutiers.
- on the 30th JUne I climb Courchevel and Val Thorens,
- 1st July: Col d'Iseran from north...
- 2nd JUly: From Modane via Col du Galibier to Bourg d'Oisans
- 4th JUly: La Marmotte
and from 6th evening -7th JUly: BIG meeting
After the BIG meeting I will spend a few days to weekend in Tirol.

After the end of the tour I will have more than 100 climbs by bike above 2000 m in the Alps.
and together 80 BIGs above 2000 m (in Europe)
